Olympics Vancouver 2010

This was done in acrylics in one night at 1 AM the day before AP Art critiques. That horrid border of flags took more time, but I love it so I regret nothing. :U

I love the Olympic games and I adore watching them. They're really an inspiration to me in the current state of the world and all the problems that have to be faced. I thought that the song "One Day" by Matisyahu was very inspirational and connected to this event greatly, so I painted a picture around it. It is a great time to reflect on how we all belong to the same world and we are all the same under it all. National pride and good spirits, makes me happy all over again thinking about it. C:

Vancouver 2010, I miss you. You made me want to learn snowboarding again so I could be at a Games someday (and actually remember more of it unlike the SLC games in 2002 where my childish mind didn't grasp details D:< AUGH.)
